Whats On Your WorkDesk? Wednesday 68!

Whats on your workdesk? Wednesday 68! or better known as WOYWW is a weekly link party hosted by Julia over at Stamping Ground. Participants take photos of... Oh, just read the post and you'll see.

When I got the camera out to take pictures of my workdesk I stood there and thought which one?

I have always had the two that I actually sit in the middle of and work back and forth, usually with no rhyme or reason, just trying to find the cleanest spot. A few weeks ago I added, what used to be a kitchen hutch on the other side of one of the desks because I like to stand up when I am crafting, especially scrapbooking. So the first photo is my new stand up area. I love it! You can see I have been playing around with my Tim Holtz/Ranger stuff.

The second photo is the desk on the other side of my stand up. See the basket on the far right of the desk? That is my catch all. When I am crafting I like to throw things in there so that I don't have to put stuff up right away. Then every few days or so, I sort it out and find homes for it all. That's what I was doing here, sorting everything out.

Here's the third desk. Chances are you will probably never see this desk this clean ever again. I had just cleaned the two sit down desks yesterday. Look how pretty the table top is. I knew that it was white!

Well, that's it for today.

Until Next Time... Take Care!

  2. Love all of your workdesks! Great idea using the two tier cake stands. I prefer to craft sitting down, although sometimes find myself standing when I'm completely engrossed is something!

  19. Love all those inks - I have just been given about 15 different TH alcohol inks for my birthday but haven't got round to using them yet. I will stay around a bit and see what you create with yours. You obviously know what your doing!

  20. I like your space very much. I never stand to craft but I totally get why you love using the standing area! What you're working on looks great - what a fab treasure box of inks! I also am impressed by the catch-all system - how much discipline do you employ to empty it and sort out then?

  22. I'm impressed by all the horizontal spaces you have. I always stand to craft, so I understand completely. The only time I sit is to sew. You have a magical space and LOTS and LOTS of stash. I see all those drawers under the standing area just filled to the brim, too.

I'm not even going to apologize for being late, especially since I'm number 2 this week. I got totally distracted by everything in your studio!

  23. How clean and neat, sherry!!! I have 3 areas to work in and none of mine is that organized. I am trying to find out who wrote about a big snail-type roller adhesive that they got at Michaels. Was it you?
